FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A man who is suspected of being impaired drove through a closed construction zone in Fresno, the California Highway Patrol said Wednesday.
On Monday, Golden State Boulevard and Shaw Avenue closed for preparation for the new high-speed rail grade separation. With the temporary lane shift nearly completed, crews have been actively working.
Despite crews working and there being road closed signs, barriers and detours, a man drove through an active work zone.
CHP said the driver was impaired over three times the legal limit.
