ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An Imo’s employee is accused of stabbing a man who was looking for food in Ferguson.

Jakob McKeage is charged with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.

The victim went to the Imo’s near closing time on Tuesday and asked for food. Authorities said McKeage told the man there was no food and to get a job. The victim then went to the back of the Imos near the dumpster.

Prosecutors said McKeage armed himself with a kitchen knife and took trash to the dumpster. When the victim asked for food and a drink, McKeage allegedly lunged at the victim and slapped him. When the victim ran, McKeage is accused of stabbing him in the side.
