The Fastest Gun Alive: World Championship of Cowboy Fast Draw competed its 23rd year of competition in late July as competitors converged on Fallon from across the United States and several foreign countries.

The men and women dressed in their western attire competed for five days at the Rafter 3C Arena. The world’s fastest gunslingers took aim to compete for the coveted title of “Fastest Gun Alive.”

Quick Cal (Eilrich), director of CFDA and match director, said the annual “Fastest Gun Alive” competition in Fallon showcased men, women, juniors and youth as they faced each other head-to-head in one of the most exciting western sports in the country.
