KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Knoxville man was sentenced to 70 months in prison for having child pornography, according to the Department of Justice.
Twenty-four-year-old Nathan Hart pleaded guilty to one count of possession of and access with intent to view child pornography, the DOJ said. In addition to his sentence, he must pay $45,000 in restitution to his victims.
After Hart's prison term, he'll be on supervised release for 20 years and must register as a sex offender, the DOJ said.
Investigators traced Hart’s online activity to his house in May 2023 after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received tips about child pornography being distributed online.
