KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A 24-year-old Knoxville man was sentenced to prison and ordered to pay thousands of dollars on Tuesday after reaching a plea agreement with federal prosecutors.

Nathan Hart, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of and access with intent to view child pornography and sentenced to 70 months in prison. He was also ordered to pay $45,000 in restitution to victims and will be on supervised release for 20 years following his imprisonment.

According to a release from the Department of Justice, Hart's residence and electronics were searched in May 2023 after tips were made to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
