The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a 21-year-old woman in Arden Hills.

Fatuma Yussuf Sharif-Isaack, of Brooklyn Park, was killed in the crash on Tuesday evening, and two female passengers were injured, according to authorities.

Sharif-Isaack was driving a Subaru Legacy west on I-694 just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when the crash occurred. Troopers say the car crossed from the right lane into the left shoulder at Highway 10, then hit the guardrail, rolled over, and struck a Honda CR-V before coming to a rest on its side.

Sharif-Isaack wasn't wearing a seatbelt and died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, according to State Patrol.

The passengers in Sharif-Isaack's car were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
