COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)- We have been tracking rounds of showers and storms for your Wednesday. A few of which have brought heavy rainfall to the region. Parts of northern Alabama and Northern Georgia were under a Flood Watch.

Thursday: Isolated showers and storms will be possible again tomorrow afternoon. With more sunshine in the forecast, get ready for warmer temperatures. Highs will reach into the lower 90s Thursday.

Weekend: The heat will continue to build this weekend, with afternoon highs in the lower 90s. Heat index readings are expected to reach near 105 degrees by Sunday. Isolated storms will still be in the forecast through the weekend.
