COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Thursday morning! We’re kicking off the day with sticky humidity, plenty of clouds, and even a few early showers or storms around the region.
As the morning progresses, skies should gradually clear, allowing temperatures to climb into the mid 80s by late morning. By afternoon, expect partly sunny skies and a high in the low 90s. A stray shower or storm can’t be ruled out late this evening or into the early nighttime hours.
Looking ahead to Friday, we wrap up the workweek with more of the same — mostly to partly sunny skies and highs in the low 90s as high pressure continues to hold. However, a weak shortwave could sneak in by Saturday, bringing a better chance for isolated showers or storms.
