MUSKEGON, Mich. — A fall tradition is coming to an end at Michigan’s Adventure amusement park. The park is canceling its Halloween-themed “Tricks & Treats” weekends and closing for the season on September 1st — over a month early.

For the last two years, families enjoyed “Tricks & Treats” at Michigan’s Adventure — a Halloween-themed weekend full of fun. However, this year, it’s gone.

Season passholders said they’re disappointed and blindsided by the sudden early closure.

“It was kind of like a punch in the gut. It's like in the middle of nowhere. These events are being canceled across the Six Flags chain, and they were promised last year,” said pass holder, Austin Juersivich.
