RIVERTON -- As trust in media shifts and audiences seek reliable sources, public broadcasting stands at a pivotal moment. In response, Wyoming PBS, in partnership with Rocky Mountain PBS and the Center for Public Deliberation at Colorado State University, invites the public to participate in an important and timely online event on Aug. 26.
The virtual convening, “Understanding the Debate: Media Bias, Public Trust, and the Role of Public Broadcasting,” will be from 6–7:30 p.m. (MDT). The interactive session will examine the evolving national conversation around public media, exploring the spectrum of arguments for and against publicly funded media, and addressing bias concerns, accountability, and audience trust.
