CLEVELAND — As weak thunderstorms rumbled across Northeast Ohio Tuesday evening, a tornado touched down in Geauga County.

The National Weather Service in Cleveland confirms a relatively weak EF-0 tornado damaged some farm buildings and inured livestock about three miles north of Middlefield near the intersection of Burton-Windsor Road and Madison Road (state Route 528). Winds peaked at around 85 mph.
