ST. CHARLES, Mo. – A St. Charles High School teacher is accused of keeping child pornography.

Court documents obtained by FOX 2 News state officers with the St. Charles County Police Department arrest Louis N. Saubers, 45, at the school on Tuesday.

Saubers is a speech and theatre teacher at the high school.

Police said they discovered child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on Saubers’ phone. Court docs also revealed disturbing online conversations in which Saubers allegedly bragged about molesting underage boys.

The school district placed Saubers on administrative leave following his arrest.

The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Saubers with one count of possession of child pornography. Saubers remains jailed on a $185,000 cash-only bond. Online court records do not
