WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (WMC) - The West Memphis Police Department has issued a statement regarding a previously ongoing investigation of four West Memphis police officers.

According to the statement provided, the City of West Memphis fired four of the five officers previously placed on administrative leave during the ongoing misconduct investigation.

Major Stacy Allen, Captain Mose Walker, Captain Ivora Hall, and Officer Treasure Gaither were all fired effective Tuesday, August 12.

“This action reflects the City’s commitment to public trust and fairness for all involved. Due to ongoing litigation, we are unable to comment further at this time. Updates will be provided when appropriate.”
