ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WILX) - The Detroit Lions hosted their first of two joint practices with the Miami Dolphins on Wednesday afternoon in Allen Park. It was Detroit’s first chance for a lot of its starters to get reps against another team’s starters.
“It was fun to finally go against someone else,” said Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Detroit’s offense also reportedly dominated the Dolphins, with St. Brown, Isaac TeSlaa, and Jameson Williams all having big grabs against defenders.
It was also Michigan fans’ first look at former Wolverines’ defensive tackle Kenneth Grant in the NFL. Grant was selected in the first round by the Miami Dolphins in the 2025 NFL Draft and has been making waves in camp.
Detroit will now return tomorrow to wrap up its last joint practice against the Dolphins.
