A multi-vehicle accident on I-75 Northbound in Ocala blocked all lanes on Wednesday afternoon after an overturned semi-truck spilled approximately 350 gallons of diesel fuel.

The incident occurred just north of Mile Marker 352 at approximately 3:49 p.m.

Authorities reported the semi-truck was traveling southbound when a tire failure caused it to veer into oncoming northbound traffic. The overturned semi, which was transporting corn, fell on top of a Honda Civic that was traveling northbound.

Two occupants of the Honda Civic were trauma alerted and transported to the hospital for evaluation. The drivers of the semi-trucks were ambulatory.

In addition to the overturned semi and the Honda Civic, three other semi-trucks were involved.
