As Team WKYC continues to raise money for cancer research, here's a look at a few of this year's VeloSano Pilot Grantees

CLEVELAND — With just weeks to go until Cleveland ’s annual Bike to Cure, WKYC’s VeloSano team is riding with purpose — and making a direct impact on cancer research.

According to the latest update from Team WKYC co-captain Mike Polk, we are now 33 riders strong, thanks to the newest addition, Commercial Production Manager Joe Garman. Welcome to the squad, Joe. Stay hydrated and remember to stretch.

Since its launch in 2014, VeloSano has raised more than $80 million for cancer research, funding over 260 projects across a range of cancer types. Those donations have led to tangible, life-changing breakthroughs.
