It's looking like a classic summer pattern will persist across our region as we head deeper into the week. We've got that typical heat building, and it's certainly something we will be monitoring closely for you. A few scattered storms will continue, especially across the southern parts of our viewing area.

While most of these will be just passing, we can't rule out some gusty winds in the stronger cells, and of course, the usual heavy downpours and frequent lightning are on the table with these summer storms.

Looking ahead to tomorrow, we'll still be dealing with that southerly flow, which is helping to keep things warm. Moisture might be a bit more widespread in some spots, potentially leading to some patchy fog, especially in areas that see rain tonight.
