GRAVES COUNTY, Ky. (WSIL) -- First responders in Graves County rescued a man who was trapped in a grain bin on Wednesday.
The Graves County Sheriff's Office said a 911 call was made of a person trapped inside a grain bin on August 13, at 10:20 a.m. First responders were called out to Elmos Road, south of Cuba, Kentucky, where a 68-year-old man was working inside a grain bin on his farm and became trapped by soybeans which shifted.
Firefighters with the Cuba Fire Department and Mayfield Fire Department used a Turtle Tube Grain Bin Rescue System which helped in rescuing the man. The sheriff's office said the man was trapped for roughly two hours in the grain bin. He was then taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
