Flooding in the Mendenhall Valley of Juneau broke records early morning Wednesday, after hitting a peak height of 16.65 feet. While this number is shocking, it's more shocking that compared to years past, the damage is minimal. With the newly placed HESCO barriers doing their job adamantly.
