BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man was hospitalized after a crash in Big Rapids Wednesday night, according to deputies.
Around 2:38 p.m., the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on Northland Drive, also known as State Street, near Forest Hills Drive.
Deputies found that a 62-year-old Big Rapids man did not yield to northbound traffic, causing a 36-year-old Big Rapids man to veer off the road and hit a sign.
The 36-year-old was taken to the hospital, the sheriff's office said.
