SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The 2025 Outrigger Challenge Cup is underway at Springdale High School's Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium.

The Marshall Islands Soccer Federation is in town competing for its first-ever international 11-a-side soccer match.

The cup will feature teams from the Marshall Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Turks and Caicos and Northwest Arkansas with Ozark United FC.

Outside the Marshall Islands, Springdale has the largest population of Marshallese in the world, and the event offers them a chance to see themselves represented in the sport.
