MINOT, ND (KXNET) — One local hospital was able to purchase new and updated equipment to provide quicker and more efficient care to women in our state.

Trinity Health in Minot now provides advanced 3D Mammography through the arrival of the Genius 3D Mammography Exam.

Leaders say the new technology produces higher-quality 3D images, faster and more accurate screening, a more comfortable experience, and biopsy capabilities.

"The reason we went with the machines that we did is we had patient comfort in mind or we had our patients in mind," Sam Morgan, the lead mammographer, said.
