JACKSON, Mo. (KFVS) - The Saxony Lutheran Football team will play the school’s first-ever varsity home game at Houck Stadium on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
Crusaders head coach O.J. Turner says the entire staff worked hard to get the field on the Saxony Lutheran campus ready in time for the home opener, but couldn’t get everything ready quickly enough.
Saxony Lutheran will now host Doniphan on Thursday, September 4, in the school’s first home football game in school history at Houck Stadium.
Turner says there’s also a possibility the second home game could also be held at SEMO, but that decision hasn’t been made yet.
