(CNN) - Dollar General is recalling its 8-ounce Clover Valley Instant Coffee because it potentially contains fragments of glass, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

The three recalled lots of instant coffee have best by dates of Dec. 13 and 14 of 2026. It was distributed and sold July 9 through 21 at Dollar General stores in all 48 states that make up the continental United States.

Customers can find the lot and best by date information around the neck of the product. A full list of the lot numbers under recall can be found on the FDA’s website .

Dollar General is investigating the source of the potential contamination. Ingesting glass fragments may cause injury, including damage to the teeth, laceration of the mouth and throat and/or perforation of the intestine.
