The Community Preservation Committee is launching the fiscal year 2026 Community Preservation Act application cycle. A technical workshop is scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 4 on the third floor of the Downtown New Bedford Free Public Library, 613 Pleasant St., according to a community announcement.

The workshop aims to inform potential applicants about changes to the application process. Approximately $1.8 million will be available for CPA-eligible projects. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.
