LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Fans of Norm’s on 48th will be happy to know they can still get some of its famous foods in Lincoln, now under the name Ty’s BBQ and Smashys .

The company was bought by the Super C gas station chain this past May, with Norm’s grandson, Tyler Sell, taking on the legacy.

For the past few months, Sell has been selling food out of Super C’s across town, working out of a trailer with a small team of four people.

Originally from Texas, Sell has been trained by some of the best pitmasters in the country. He’s well-known for the Nebraska barbecue and smash burgers sold at Norm’s on 48th for almost five years now.
