A cold front moving into the region produced localized heavy rainfall and isolated severe weather conditions.

Lancaster County was under a flash flood warning for several hours on Wednesday evening, and Chester County’s flood warning was in effect until 11 p.m.

Montgomery County, north of Philadelphia, was under a flash flood warning until 1 a.m. Thursday.

Out in western Pennsylvania, rainfall totals of 2 to 3 inches prompted a flash flood warning in Beaver and Butler counties until 11:45 p.m.
