Two Upstate New York residents bought tickets to Bad Bunny’s monthlong concert series in Puerto Rico and traveled to the island this month only to discover that their tickets were fake.
The pair filed a formal complaint with state Attorney General Letitia James after they lost hundreds of dollars in a scam that could potentially affect “a lot of New Yorkers all across the state,” the attorney general’s spokesperson Halimah Elmariah said Tuesday. The office is seeking other victims who bought fake or invalid tickets to the rapper’s 30-date Puerto Rican residency, which has drawn tens of thousands of tourists to the island.
