ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — A coordinated law enforcement operation has resulted in the seizure of nearly 20 kilograms of cocaine and the arrest of two suspects in what authorities describe as a trafficking-level narcotics operation.
The Rowan County Sheriff's Office Vice/Narcotics Unit led the investigation on Aug. 11, executing two search warrants as part of an ongoing probe targeting suspected drug trafficking. The operation was conducted in partnership with multiple agencies, including the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, Lexington Police Department, Davidson County Sheriff's Office, and Thomasville Police Department.
During the searches, investigators found roughly 19.6 kilograms of cocaine with an estimated street value of $350,000, along with $20,940 in cash and three firear
