MONROE — Northbound I-75 will be reduced to a single lane through Monroe for three days starting Saturday, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced, while a ramp at the LaPlaisance Road interchange will be closed starting Friday.

Pavement patching will close two of three northbound lanes between Dunbar Road and Dixie Highway starting at 12:01 a.m. Saturday and ending about 8 p.m. Monday, MDOT said.

The southbound I-75 entrance from LaPlaisance will close for installation of a pipe crossing. It first will close for about an hour starting at 9 a.m. Friday, then close again at 8 p.m. Friday and reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, MDOT said.

Northbound motorists from Toledo should consider using Telegraph Road (U.S. 24) or U.S. 23 to I-94 to bypass the work zone. Ramp traffic will be detour
