We have another repeat of the same today with the afternoon heating of the day and scattered showers and storms, with highs near 90°F. Heat indices will hover in the upper 90s in a few spots, with some feeling closer to 100°F, thanks to high humidity and southerly wind flow. Scattered showers and storms remain in the forecast through Friday and Saturday, as temperatures will slightly “cool” off to the upper 80s. Winds will start to come from the north-northeast, as a drop in the humidity will make things feel comfortable, with lows in the 60s.
