A few weeks ago, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. fired all members of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which makes recommendations for vaccines. He then appointed eight new members, some of which have records as “anti-vaxxers.”

More recently, Kennedy announced that he will be cutting millions of dollars in funding for mRNA vaccine development , saying the technology is “ineffective” and claiming it poses more risks than benefits.
