JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — A new four-hour parking limit rule is in effect for a stretch of 3rd Street South in Jacksonville Beach in an effort to "keep parking available," the city's police department announced Thursday morning.
The rule is in effect for the following areas of 3rd Street South, according to the police department:
East side of 3rd Street South — from the Duval/St. Johns County line to Osceola Avenue
West side of 3rd Street South — from the Duval/St. Johns County line to Osceola Avenue, except between 32nd Ave South and 34th Ave South
The Jacksonville Beach Police Department said violating the four-hour limit will result in a $25 fine.
