LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - One person is dead after a crash on southbound I-75 near the Clays Ferry Bridge on Thursday morning.

Lexington Police say they were called just after 10 a.m. to mile marker 97 for a collision involving two vehicles.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Southbound I-75 in the area is down to one lane. Drivers should expect delays and use caution.
