GIBSON CITY, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Illinois State Police are still looking for a man allegedly connected to a shooting that injured two police officers last week.
The state police said they are continuing to look for 70-year-old David Jordan, who was allegedly involved in the Aug. 9 incident in Gibson City.
Officers with the Gibson City Police Department and the Ford County Sheriff’s Department were called at 2:31 a.m. that day to the 100 block of Ash Street to a report of a man, allegedly Jordan, who was walking around naked.
When they arrived, they tried to talk to Jordan at his house when he allegedly opened fire. He’s accused of hitting a Gibson City officer and a Ford County deputy, Illinois State Police said.
Shortly after the alleged shooting occurred, Jordan’s house caught on fire
