COLUMBIANA CITY The City of Columbiana has received more than $1.4 million from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for a traffic signal replacement project.

The city received a total of $1,466,354 for a traffic signal replacement project at three intersections within the State Route 14/46/164 triangle.

Work will consist of the replacement of outdated traffic signals at the intersections including new poles, pedestrian signals and detectors, traffic signals and modern signal controllers.

This funding is part of funding awarded through ODOT's Small Cities Program, which focuses on supporting roadway, safety and pedestrian projects in cities with populations between 5,000 and 24,999.
