Katie Price has responded after her former husband Peter Andre released a blistering statement about her.

He criticised her in an extensive post where he alleged she had made "repeated lies" in the years following their separation.

Katie, 47, and Peter, 52, have been apart since 2009, with the former pair having started their romance after meeting on I'm A Celebrity in 2004.

The former partners share children Junior Andre, 20, and Princess Andre, 18.

Peter lashed out at Katie in a statement released earlier today , where he alleged she had made "repeated lies" and stated he wished to "set the record straight".

Katie's representatives have subsequently responded to the remarks from her former spouse.
