GOODYEAR, AZ (AZFamily) — Goodyear police confirmed that an Estrella Foothills High School student has been arrested after reportedly holding a handgun inside a campus bathroom before posting it on social media. A second student involved may also face charges.

Authorities said officers arrived at the high school, located on Estrella Parkway, approximately two miles north of Willis Road , on Thursday at around 3:40 p.m., after school had been released for the day.

Police later identified the two students who posted the image on social media and met them at their home, where school officials said authorities seized at least one gun. One student was arrested and booked into juvie while charges were submitted for the second student. Officials did not identify the ages and grade levels o
