SHERMAN, Texas — Sherman police arrested two 17-year-old men after they reportedly kidnapped a woman at gunpoint, officials say.

At about 5:35 p.m. Wednesday, police say they received a 911 call from someone reporting her roommate had been kidnapped in the 900 block of Boone Drive. According to the call, police say they were told two men forced the victim into a car at gunpoint before leaving.

The victim was later returned to Sherman, officials said, where she called the police. She was found unharmed.

Police say it was determined that the suspects took her to a home and held her there for about an hour as leverage to find someone else. This was reportedly supported by evidence obtained through the investigation.
