MADISON (WKOW) — One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Wednesday after a crash involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles on the Beltline near Todd Drive.

The crash was reported around 3:45 p.m. According to the Madison Police Department, when officers arrived, they learned that the semi-truck had changed lanes and hit a Kia Sorento. The Kia spun several times, striking the semi again and then hitting another vehicle.

The driver of the Kia was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wisconsin State Patrol responded to conduct an inspection of the semi-truck involved.

The crash disrupted traffic for almost 2 hours .
