WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - On September 28, 2024, Hunter Lundgren thought the worst had already happened.
After all, he’d misjudged a turn off Murfreesboro Road in Williamson County and ended up crashing his car. His nose was broken. He had cuts all over his body.
While sitting in an ambulance, a state trooper walked in with a pointed question: “Did you have anything to drink at work?”
He understood why the trooper would ask the question. He worked at a winery at the time.
“No, sir, not at all,” Lungren answered.
But body camera footage worn by that THP trooper, James Zahn, shows that as he waited for Lundgren to leave the ambulance, he spoke with another trooper.
“Cocaine?” that trooper asked.
“Oh, he’s on something,” Zahn said. “Some kind of upper.”
