NEWNAN, Ga. — Three people were taken to the hospital after a road rage incident caused four vehicles to crash in Newnan on Thursday afternoon, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).

An investigation revealed that the driver of a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu hit its brakes, causing it to hit a black 2017 Nissan Rogue along Newnan Crossing Bypass, according to GSP officials.

Once this happened, troopers said both vehicles lost control and crossed into the northbound lane, causing the Nissan Rogue to collide with a white 2001 Ford F-150 traveling north, while the Malibu hit a white 2023 GMC Sierra.

According to GSP, both the Malibu and Rogue vaulted and rolled over.
