Republican U.S. Sen. Jon Husted has called the One Big Beautiful Bill Act the most pro-family, working class bill of the 21st century, and during his Aug. 14 visit to Akron he explained why.

Appearing at the Akron Roundtable at the John S. Knight Convention Center, Husted cited provisions in the law temporarily eliminating taxes on tips and overtime, a $2,200 child tax credit, an extension of Trump-era tax cuts passed in 2017, reduced taxes on Social Security, border security provisions and more.
