MACON, Ga. — Four children were injured during a car accident on Mumford Road in Macon on Thursday afternoon, according to a press release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
The press release says a gold sedan was traveling east on Mumford Road around 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, when it attempted to make a left turn onto Case Street, striking a SUV traveling west on Mumford.
The SUV veered off the road, hitting four female children near the intersection of Mumford and Case Street, per the report.
The four pedestrians were taken to a local hospital for their injuries, according to the release. Medical staff say all four are in stable condition, as of the latest report.
