LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Webb County Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy on a 43-year-old man found dead Wednesday, August 13, in West Laredo , authorities said.

Emergency crews responded to the 2300 block of Jefferson Street, where they discovered the man already deceased. Initial reports indicate the man may have died after a vehicle fell on him, but the cause of death is still under investigation, officials said.

The man has been identified only by his age at this time, and authorities have not released further details.

The investigation remains ongoing.
