121 cats and kittens were flown in from overcrowded shelters in Memphis this week for the Humane Society of North Texas Mega Adoption Event.

Staff at the Humane Society of North Texas in Fort Worth have been busy this week getting ready for their Mega Adoption event. On Wednesday, they were busy processing 121 cats and kittens from overcrowded shelters in Memphis that were flown to DFW by Wings of Rescue.

"They are Texan now," HSNT Senior Director Cassie Davidson said. "They're transplants, but they're Texans!"

The felines were weighed, given vaccinations, and checked for ringworm to make sure they were healthy and adoptable.
