Several North Texas health care providers spoke about their recent trips to Gaza to provide care for Palestinians and called on politicians to enact a ceasefire Thursday morning.

Standing side-by-side in solidarity, a dozen doctors and nurses described what they recently saw and experienced as they treated Palestinians in Gaza.

"The scale of forced starvation, trauma, and destruction we have witnessed cannot be fully grasped from briefings or headlines; it requires direct testimony," said Abeerah Muhammad, an emergency room nurse in DFW.

Having traveled with different non-government organizations, doctors and nurses said the humanitarian crisis is catastrophic.
