NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Natalia Campo wasn’t planning to answer the door when her doorbell rang, but after several rings, she finally gave in. She found two men outside who claimed they were from Xfinity and needed to come inside to work on some wiring.

“It was like kind of just processing in my brain, and then I realized, well, we don’t have Xfinity. We don’t even have the service,” Campo said.

She asked them to double-check the address and call their supervisor, who over speaker phone, insisted they were at the right place even though they did not know her name.

“They kept on stating they needed to come inside and were just going to do something really quickly,” she said. “So at that point, once she had given me the wrong name, I was like, ‘I’m good. This isn’t the right house,’ and
