SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Scattered storms will continue through sunset before rapidly diminishing later this evening. Locally heavy rain and strong wind gusts will be possible with a few of the storms. Conditions should be quiet overnight, and it will stay very warm and humid with lows in the 70s.

Another very hot and humid day for Friday with temperatures soaring into the upper 90s and feels like temperatures from 105 to 110. A few storms could develop during the afternoon but most of the region will stay dry.

We are also tracking a tropical disturbance in the Gulf that could bring heavy rain to Coastal Texas Friday into Saturday. This system could spread some additional moisture into the ArkLaTex on Saturday leading to a slight increase in storm chances. Overall though, impacts here wi
