Good Thursday. We may get an isolated spot of rain or two, but we will, overall, have a quiet, muggy evening. Friday through the weekend, we will start to see a high-pressure pattern taking over in which we won't have many showers and storms, but any that are able to develop could produce some heavy spots of rain. The high will climb to 91.

Saturday and Sunday, the high will be around 94 as temps keep climbing underneath the high pressure. Both days may sport one or two showers, but most will be rain-free and humid this weekend. The heat index both days will be in the upper 90s.

Next week will start the same with highs in the mid 90s and the heat index around 100 both Monday and Tuesday. We, again, will have a chance for a few spotty showers that could produce heavy rain.
